About Membership & Subscriptions
At Naturally to your door we strive to give our customers the healthiest and freshest quality produce we can find. We concentrate on sourcing from certified organic, local San Diego County farms. However, there are a few exceptions; some of our certified organic produce such as apples and cherries come from central California and some of our local farmers grow their produce naturally and sustainably but are not certified organic.
Membership: Becoming a member with us basically gives you access to purchase from our weekly list of available produce on the webstore. When you sign up we'll keep your delivery address and payment information on file for your convenience. There are no membership or start up fees and no commitments. You can purchase from the webstore anytime you like or subscribe to a set box for a discount.
We believe in transparency. For every item on our list you will be able to check whether the produce was certified organic, hydroponic or naturally grown as well as view the farmer/producer with a link directly to their website so you can see exactly who they are.
Account Balance: We don't issue refunds for small balances on your account. If you wish to cancel your subscriptions we can set you up with a choose you own (customized box) membership so you can use up the rest of your funds.
Substitutions: Occasionally we will place an order with the farms only to find out on delivery day that they weren't able to harvest some items for our order. In that case, we will try to find another comparable source for the same item or substitute. Some past examples of substitutions are: Green Garlic for Mini Purplette, Oranges for Tangerines, Floridor Squash for Eightball Squash or Romaine for Butter Lettuce. We have never had to do anything like Apples for Tomatoes. We try to do squash for squash or citrus for citrus whenever possible.
Allergies: Because we offer a "choose your own" service we usually won't do substitutions. However, if you have an allergy to items that will be coming in your box please let us know by the Monday before your delivery day and we will make a substitution for you.
Stow-Aways: We do all the packing at our warehouse so we check and make sure there aren't any little critters on your produce. Most of the time if you find any (you probably will - its organic!) you can just wash them off but if you have anything out of the ordinary please let us know and we will issue you a refund for any inedible produce.
Guarantee: We guarantee everything in your box and we will refund, replace or give credit (your choice) for anything that you are unsatisfied with.
Missing Items: We have developed a highly efficient packing system but every so often we will make a mistake. If you are missing anything from your box we will refund or replace it (in your next order).
Delivery Hold: You can put your subscription on hold at anytime. You can do so by emailing us or accessing your account from the home page under the orders tab. Please do so by Sunday 5PM for Northeast and East SD Routes and Monday by 11PM for North and South SD routes.
Cancellation Policy: You may cancel at anytime by sending us an email on Sunday for Wednesday deliveries and Monday for Thursday and Friday deliveries.
Terms: By checking yes you agree to pay for the produce you ordered (or subscribed to) and services rendered.
Please leave your last box out on delivery day. We'll reuse them for as long as we can.
